Overview
The Santos Carrée was released in the late 1970s and marked the brand's new approach to offering a more accessible sports watch in stainless steel. The Carrée ("square" in French), known for its more boxy case, became one of the more iconic watches of the 1980s and helped to popularize the brand with a younger audience. While the two-tone version was the original poster child for this model, Cartier also released several all-steel versions with different dial colors. None, however, feels more classically Cartier than this white dial version with black roman numerals and blue sword hands.

MINT: Case has only a few superficial hairlines. Lugs are thick, full, and sharp with superb finishing. Dial, hands, and lume may have micro imperfections visible only with a loupe.
EXCELLENT: Case has very light scratches or nicks. Lugs are thick, full, and well-defined. Dial and hands may have imperfections visible upon close inspection. Lume is fully intact and may show slight discoloration.

Case: The case shows normal signs of wear for a 30+ year old watch with little scratches and little dings throughout. The original brushed finishing is still intact and the edges are well-defined. The bezel has a few scratches, and has likely been polished at some point. The case back shows notable wear, but all model and serial number engravings are fully visible.
Dial, Hands, & Crystal: The white dial is clean and free of the "spider" effect that is common with these watches. The hands and sapphire crystal are in excellent condition.
Bracelet/Strap: The bracelet condition is consistent with the rest of the watch with a few scratches, but little to no stretch.
Functions & Timing: All functions including the crown-winding, time-setting, and date-setting are working as expected. The movement accuracy has been manually observed and appears to be running normally.
